The chickens are beautiful. Mawz, your subject matter is always interesting, Freaklikeme, I like the fence with snow and your good looking dogs.

One of my dogs using Voigt 90mm. thanks

Our second son was born a few days ago, and I had the NEX-6 as well as my D600 for video and photo opportunities. Here are a couple from the ZM 35mm f/2.8 C-Biogon, triggered off-camera ceiling/wall bounce flash. I'm really happy with the IQ at base ISO.

Your chicken shot is fantastic.

Thanks! So the truth is out - FDn lenses do not look cool! but they're a perfect fit on the NEX for me, discreet, light and small enough, look "at home," and the bang for buck is amazing! I have the 28/2.8, 35/2, 50/1.4, 100/2.8 and now the 24/2.8. Among other, equally cheap, old lenses! BTW the old FD chrome noses look great!

All I have to say after tonight is I'm not regretting switching to the Nex. Went to see my absolute favorite musical artist James McMurtry tonight in Roanoke Va. He's the best songwriter around IMHO. Took my Nex7 and my MD 50 1.4. Sitting on the 4th row, these are right out of the camera jpegs.

partitura,

Love the shots and the whole effect of the lens. Is that an M42 mount?

Thanks very much! I think that it was originally M42, but it had been converted to a Nikon F mount some time before I bought it. The conversion was well done, and it works nicely on my Nikon and the Nex.

Adam, I like your choice for composition with this. How do you feel the 24 1.8 performs? I am trying to decide between that and the canon 24 f2 FD. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
