At the risk of sounding a lil' silly, that's a real uncle named Sam, and not the ... taxman, right?

>>

Last night, with the 50 1.2 AIS
She clamours to come up
And then can't wait to get down
What gives missy?

Love the eagle shots Ray. You're definitely a first rate ambassador for the 300 f/4.5 AI-s ED-IF with shots like that! Excellent work.

Chin, another nice picture of Oolong (I hope I spelled that right). She certainly can give you the looks.

you're kidding Curits - you want ANOTHER lens?

sorry to hear you're unwell Leighton and Mark. Get better fast - one good thing though is that the convalescence is making Leighton chattier than ever.

What will give you on the top of D7K? I mean seems a good move for Nikon but not a dramatic upgrade over D7K... Am I not seeing something important?

For example the 24mp, the 1.3 crop ability, 51 point with 15 cross, greater dynamic range, no low pass filter so cleaner images(like the D800) and built in hdr. For just a few reasons

Oh man... I wish... Is this the sensor in the D3200?

I hope by you selling the D700 only indicates that you're upgrading, and not leaving us for another?

Really good prices and if I did not have them I would have them all.

He is probably tired of me picking on him but he does not need convalescence to be chatty!

But it's not the same sensor—this one has been engineered without the low-pass filter designed to help eliminate aliasing distortions and Not even the D600 has this new 51-point system. It will also auto focus up to F8 instead of F5.6

Sounds like a great camera on paper. My only real concern would be packing that many more MP's on that size sensor.
