I wouldn't stress too much about the oil issue either. I have the D7000 (first run) and the oil issue was FAR worse than the images I have seen with the D600. It took a trip into Nikon for a cleaning (and a repair, the shop I took my camera into to clean the sensor put a scratch on the sensor) and I have shot 4k images since, all weather conditions, and not a single drop of oil. The repair stated that the extractor arm needed to be cleaned... |

Well done Peter. I've no doubt you'll love the D600, if I'm to judge by what others are doing with the camera. I've been tempted myself, but then took a step back. My D700 still does the job for me. |
