Taken 20+ years ago- scanned from prints recently.
#1- An old woman in Taxco who was patient enough to try to converse with me in Spanish, and then let me take her photograph.
#2- Her family lived within modest means, but when this small-town girl stepped outside, she looked her best.
#3- Girl on the beach in Acapulco. A family outing with the children splashing in a waveless surf. To my question, "Con su permisso?" the children's father said I could photograph the kids. This shot pleased me the most.

Great images but number three is exceptional.
It has a timeless quality to it....a slice of time captured and preserved for ever.

Really hits home for me!

These are all very nice, Charlie.
I really like the third also.

Charlie,

You have a wonderful way of capturing people, whether old or young.

Howdy Charlie,

Once again, you've captured the true spirit in each of these beautiful people.

Very nicely done, once again!!!

Atta go, Charlie. All are very nice. You obviously have a way of putting your subjects at ease.
#3 absolutely belongs on a wall, card, or anywhere else where it can be more widely shared.
Nice set here!

Thanks for the positive feedback.
It took me a long time to venture deep into Mexico. When I finally did, I gave myself a dope-slap for waiting so long. All the people I met were pleasant and friendly to the smiling gringo who tried to speak Spanish but seldom got past "Una cervesa, por favor," and "Donde esta el toilet?" Beer and a toilet- all a man needs to travel well .

Or stay home for that matter.

They are all quite nice, but the third is exceptional, technically, artistically, and emotionally.

Fantastic series. The first captures great emotion and the last is great as well.

I like very much N° 1 and N° 3. Very emotional takes. In this series as in true life, one is at the beginning, the other towards the end...

Again, thanks for the kind feedback.
I intended these as a sequence, but decided to present them in reverse order to the normal "young-to-old" manner.

Beautiful Charlie! #3 definitely steals the show for me but I like how the attire in #2 goes along with the fact that it's 20 years old. Nice set.
