i came from a canon 9500 pro II to an epson r1800. For the life of me i can't get any good prints.

I installed all of the software, but can't find any programs like canon's ez photo printer to print. i open a file up on photoshop and print, and it looks like crap.

I really have no idea where to start. I read the manual, but i cannot seem to get a printer settings screen to pop up.

any help would be appreciated.

well i wasn't using the canon enough to justify keeping it. as soon as i sold it, i regretted it.

but i got a crazy deal on this r1800, so it solved my problem as far as having a printer.

Are the prints too light / dark / muddy? You really don't give us much of any info to go on. What operating system are you running it on?

Where did you install the driver from? If from CD, you should download latest from their website....
