I know the rumor sites are suspect as they speculate so much that they eventually hit something right. But there are reports that Canon will announce two new bodies and three new lenses. |

IF Canon decides to stick to it's release cycle we won't be seeing a 1DsIV until late Spring or Summer. I think we'll see a 60D and a new Rebel with a few EF-S lenses and perhaps a new L sometime in Feb. |

A Canon crop dSLR with 1080 30p HD and a pan-cake EF-s 12.5mm (20mm) prime will be a great P&S. |

Canon DSLR with high ISO (3200/6400) as good as (or better than) the D700. Pop-up flash, something better than 9-point AF. FF (16+ MPs, 5+ fps) or APS-H sensor (14+ MPs, 7+ fps). Doubtful that Canon would put an APS-H sensor in a non-pro body. |

Canonrumors.com claims it'll be a 60D and a new rebel, both with 15MP sensors and articulated LCDs. |

I've heard that the announcement will be the 8th. The 9th sounds plausable though. I have no clue what is going to be announced though. |

I'm wishing something like a pro body with APS-C 1.6x sensor, cheaper one. I don't like battery grip. |

I'd like a real professional body with optional grip - without Canon's typical/usual corner cutting. |

I'd like to see a 12-24 fast WA and a 24-70 with IS. |

Plastic lens on new lenses ...imagine 500L f/4 IS as light as two 24-70Ls combine together |

Given the limited rumors, I'm not expecting much other than the cheap stuff. |
