That size you just changed is perfect, stunning! Which lens did you use for these panos?

50MP vs. 50P

I have the Contax 50P and recently bought the ZE MP.

I asked about the rangefinder planar, which like the MP has a maximum aperture of f2. I am aware of how the contax planar renders as I have used the 1.4 and owned the 1.7, but that is not a relevant issue to me.

very few people have owned the ZM planar AND the MP it seems.

Thanks everyone...the seattle sunrise shot with the space needle was 5 vertical 100mm makro planar shots. The seattle sunset with the vivid clouds was 9 vertical 100mm makro planar shots. The night shot was 3 horizontal cy 50mm 1.4 shots. All stitched in CS5 photomerge

These are awesome Mike. I remember that day that the weather was so fantastic here, but I could not get away to get out and take some pics myself.

It's a colourful time of year, the sun is yet not so strong and the low setting makes for warm colours (although this one is cold)

Planar 1.4/85 @ 1.4

Ronny, is Zeiss 1.4/85 that hard to focus on fast(er) moving subjects?
Seriously, how do you like this lens after using it for a few weeks?

Few shots from last summer.

Jako: zeiss 85 and 100 MP is not very easy to focus on fast-moving subjects .. unfortunately
But then I just love how this lens draw
think it is very special and is very happy with it ..
regret not a second that I got it ..
Hold it as one of my best zeiss ..
100 MP is the favorite I think ..but that's because I like macro and flowers
Have 21mm 35 F2 50 MP 100 MP ( 85 1.4 P )
Upload some pictures from it
Great shot from you

Thank you, rirakuma. These shots were from Czech Republic I visited last year. It's a great country, people and beer.

Ronny, your flower shots with 100 MP are always pleasure to see, and now you added interesting 1.4/85 portraiture and a model!
I was curious how the 1.4/85 fits in your collection as we had the same Zeiss glass. For a while I was tempted to get Voigtländer SL II Heliar Classic 1.8/75mm, but its production never started, at least not yet.
I find DoF on Zeiss 100MP very narrow and focussing wide open, especially hand held a bit difficult. How the 1.4/85 compares to it with its focus shift? I saw many outstanding and sharply in focus shots with this lens, so I guess it's not impossible to nail it perfectly.

I recently had a little fun with a Zeiss 100 MP, and its a lovely portrait lens. I took it to Lake Tahoe while visiting for some wedding planning, here is my fiance at Sugar Pine.
