Thanks, wish I could take credit. My girlfriend's been hanging around with me too much and has started picking up the camera. Just the other day I was listening to one of her friends talk about how he was in the market for a dslr with a zoom lens. She got a weird look on her face and said "you want a ZOOOOM lens?!!?!". There's no way I couldn't help but grin

Cool costal cityscape, I like the depth of buildings in the background. Is that post storm wreckage or was it always like that?

Is it just me or is the colours (or something else) funky in this photo? Can't seem to get it natural looking.

I agree. But sometimes warming it up messes up the rest of the image. When that happens, I try desaturating the blue color slightly.

Another color and BW set from my bridge shoot earlier this week. This time with the 50MP.

I tried changing white balance, but this was as good as I got it (imo). Perhaps I could try desaturating the blue channel some.

nice work nibutto! love your pp style, very colourful and lots of pop. Im not sure if i like it for the last image though, the background looks a tad too vibrant for me. Nice street shot freezeiss, wish I could be brave enough to get into street photog

Thanks, Rirakuma. Now get out with your camera and onto the streets you go I recommend using a 28 or 35 as your starting point. You will be more rewarded using moderate wide angle in street.

I use to be shy also but once you get the hang of it and quite used to the stare that people gave me, its all good. Nothing beats the versatility (and weight!!) of and slr + MF lens for street.

nibutto, some nice street shots. This proves that you don't necessarily need a wide lens to capture a great street shot.
