I got me one last week and the cheap chinese adapter did not give me infinity (as expected...). No problem. I just turned the focus ring to infinity, loosened the three screws on the focus ring and turned the ring slightly. Attached the screws and turned the ring to infinity again. Voila! I have infinity. I am very very pleased with the lens. It is now in my three lens travel kit... |

Great! Awhile ago I was thinking of getting a CZ 35 1.4 but but decided to hold off and wait to see if this rumored new Zeiss ZF/ZE 35 1.4 version happens and also see what the Samyang 35 1.2 EF version is like. |

Are we seeing aspherics at work in that shot Richard? I see onion rings. Not saying it's a bad thing, I find it exciting as it usually means little/no coma in 35's with aspheres. |

Interesting, either way a sharp lens with good bokeh is very accurately corrected. I must say if they made a 35/1.4 ZM I might have chosen that over the immensely expensive 35 summilux asph, the most expensive lens I've ever bought. |
