Any Office fans out there? HAHA

Anyways, my Father who really isn't sure why I went to art school for photography, or went back for another degree in Art Education is trying to come to grips with I won't be in the military, nor will I be a "businessman" suit and tie guy everyday.

He came down to celebrate my daughter's 1st birthday and brought with him a full page ad from the "Coupon Clipper" magazine.

Wasn't sure if he thought I should check the photog out, or what..maybe just a connection to something I enjoy. Who know's.

I went to the site, it was...well...what I expected? The add has packages for 8hrs, full CD for $995.

Then I went to the blog....

The blog title is rather amusing... I SHOOT PEOPLE.

It's like Soylent Green for photographers.

"You may have some great photos, portraits that you're proud of, but would still like to give your images a more "professional" look."

It seems you all could learn something if you took the time to stop making fun and put some effort in.

I agree with JakeB.

if you'd just get over yourselves you'd learn all sorts of interesting things from that blog...

for instance, did you know that some cameras have Aperature settings? Didn't think so!

Or that in order to get photos of the inside of a kitchen one needs an SLR?

And how about the fact that wedding photographers use off-camera flash to avoid the dreaded red-eye?

How about Nikon's secret Nikor lenses?

ROFLMAO!!!

WOW! I was thinking the same thing about the site title "I Shoot People" hmmmm..... There unfortunately will always be a part of the population who is impressed with gimmicks, filters and actions. They don't see that the whole meat and potatoes of composition, focus and SUBSTANCE is missing. Everyone has a market right?
