One for each image Charlie, both are great. Probably not a whole lot different than what one might see in certain places in the world nowadays still, either. I like how the girl is self absorbed in what she is doing while patiently awaiting a customer, while in contrast the boy has a hopeful, yet resigned look on his face looking at you as a potential customer (I'm assuming here that you shot this waist level).

I Googled Nepal this morning. Among the bits I found under Wikipedia: Half the population is below the "world's poverty line," which is currently an income of less than $500 per year.
Yes, I shot the second one at waist level. I did it often in Kathmandu because I didn't want to embarass or offend people. What doesn't show up here is the fact that the boy was smoking a cigarette.
