What have I done?

I crop an image and it goes away. If I open the history and go back I can get the image back but I can't crop. This seems to be the first work in PS since I installed Camera Raw 5.5 this morning. Any ideas what might be happening. I have tried closing and re opening. I am going to try rebooting. This is Vista 64 bit - CS4.

You crop an image and it goes away ... could you give us a little more of an explanation? The first thing that comes to mind is you have set your crop size (look at crop controls) to something really small in pixels. So you might have been meaning 4in x 6in and set it to 4 px x 6 px instead. After the crop with a reduction in viewing size, the image could be just a pixel or two. Just check that your settings make sense.

Weird. Yes. Somehow the width was set at 1 pixel. I don't know what caused that setting. I guess the update process did something. Anyway, seems fine now.
