Maybe I missed the subject somewhere - but didn't find any search results, can anyone tell me why the Freebie Thread in Buy&Sell doesn't seem to be getting bumped to the top when it's posted to?

Oh, maybe it has to do with needing a post from someone who has never posted in it before to bump it?

Thanks but I had found the thread, just wondering why it doesn't get bumped up in the listings when posted to. Maybe I need to flush my cookies...

Right now it's about 20-25 posts down on the second page of B&S. The last post was 6 hrs ago so it looks like it got bumped at that point.

Hmm, must have something to do with previously posting in it then, because I was one of the posters that should have bumped it today, and I don't see it anywhere on page 1. Neither do I see my own FS thread I just posted within the last hour either, unless I log out - then I see it...

Do you have the B&S page set so that it will only display certain types of threads, thus excluding the Freebie thread?

Well would you look at that, Dpic_arctic to the rescue!

Now I just have to interrogate everyone in the household to find out who set the filter to FS and CANON only!
