Hello, can anyone offer a little advice?
I want to use an eye-fi card in a fuji S5 and will need a CF2 SDHC adaptor with a plastic chasis.
Has anyone done this with any success?
Ultimately I want to shoot wirelessly to a Mitsubishi IT5000E. I'm current using a Nikon D200
with a wireless pack....works perfectly but getting a little old (the camera, not me).
Many thanks in advance for any advice or information.

we actually just did this for a fundraiser this past weekend and it worked great. i suggest getting the eyefi pro as you will need it to shoot adhock.

how it works.

you install the software on the computer and setup to work with either a wireless network or adhock. then setup a folder to download to on the computer.

works flawlessly. we used it with a d300s with the actual sd slot and used another one in a cf adapter in the d700. make sure you kinda close to the computer so it works faster. i was about 75 feet away and iot worked great. raw transfer is slow but jpeg is decent.

"raw transfer is slow but jpeg is decent"

Meaning how long for a RAW and how long for a JPEG?

Thanks,

raw took 20-30 seconds and jpeg took about 2-6

Thanks, 2-5 secs is acceptable, 20-30 isn't. RAWs are acceptable JPEGs are not - for my use.

I'll wait for another solution, or a faster version.

Does the Geo-tagging work when outside like it says it does and if so, does it add the city, state or just lat / long? And has anyone used it with lightroom and does the geo info show in lightroom?
