These are also from a trip to Florida earlier this year; specifically Lukas Butterfly gardens. I have managed to identify a few but haven't found a good site for identification. If somebody knows of one, please let me know.

I am having problems getting the URL for the actual JPEGs, so all I can provide right now is a link to the dedicated page for each image. Sorry.

It looks like a Monarch, but its colours seem so much deeper/richer.

Hi Don,

Sorry I won't be able to help in ID'ing your Butterflies or flowers, I have a hard enough time with birds.

FYI... I'm sure you didn't realize this, but if you'll notice in the upper LH corner of this page you'll see "Rules: One new topic per day." You could have combined the two topics into one thread which is fine.

Good luck with the ID's.

Kirk

Oops. Thank you for pointing that out Kirk. I wasn't thinking of that. I was just thinking it would be easier to have one thread for flowers, one thread for butterflies and one thread for birds (yesterday). I'll try to remember for next time.

Anyways, I'm still looking for identification, so if anybody can help out, please do!

2236 and 2322 are Queen butterflies.
2199 is a Malachite butterfly.
2286 is a Julia butterfly.
2233 is a Tiger Swallowtail.

Nice images.
