Out at one of my usual haunts, nothing special...few fly bys yada yada yada.
I'm chimping in the shade (go figure) and a hear a whoomph stage left, sky goes dark and I get off a few shots.
The result is #1 & 3 and it challenged the MFD. What a rush bein' THAT close! Checked my shorts, everything's fine.
My biggest flying nose hole to date

Gorgeous Will! What a thrill it must have been! I can't even get within 20 yards of them! You must have been hiding in a big old bush or something!

Lucky Monkey... looks like the scouting reports paid off and put you in the right place at the right time.

Close encounter of the Sandy kind looks pretty exciting, glad to hear you kept your cool and fired off a few good ones.
I can't stop staring at 1 and 4... very, very cool Will.

Is that the best you can do? I'm sure with the 100,000 shots I took this week I can find a bigger nose hole to post

Blue sky sandies, now why didn't eye think of that

Way to go on the up close. Mighty fast reaction for a almost old guy.

I could have shot more but those pesky meals and rest breaks cut into my shot count. I'll try to do better next time

I really enjoyed these TM, there is a dynamic feel to them being shot tight like that. Something different, you know the spice of life sort of deal.

Man I was soooo afraid to open this post, the thought of a Zoom lap dance had me shaking in my boots

Awesome shots Will, with a quickie-lap-dance to top it off, some guys are just living right! Way to collect yourself in time for the close-ups, nice job on these.....plus, you got to keep your ones!

I do work the shadows, Conrad. They never saw me and decided to land about 25' away...
all our eyes got big and they were gone, nothin' but Nellos after that.
