Long time lurker and trying to get my feet wet here. These are my first attempts at macro shots.
1 - You find the darndest things in nature...Couldn't come up with a better caption than "Dopey" 
2 - May revisit this with some focus stacking in the future
3 - Attempt at some abstraction
4 - NSFW? Wife slapped me on the shoulder for this shot so I figured it best to link just in case.

* exposures ranged from 1" to 1/60
* Lights were CLS, 2 speedlights on TTL hand held at various position (side, 45 degrees high or on axis etc, whatever it took to get the shadow details
Next week - fish and water drops
