First one: almost 31 years ago. I love the words on the dishtowel. Pretty much sums it up. The quilt behind us was a gift made by many, still have it. Borrowed my dress, did my hair and my sister's. Such a good memory.
2nd: my Dad and my oldest (his first grandchild) fishing in BC. about 7 years ago. Just found out Dad has stage 4 lung cancer.

This is me as a 2 year old visiting my great grandmother. I can remember having this photo taken. Sometimes, I still use the camera, a Yashica TLR.

Its kind of a long story, but this is my grandfather. I never realized until after I'd already enlisted and earned my jump wings that he was silly enough to jump out of perfectly good airplanes, too.

Here are a few from me:

On a mini four-wheeler when I was about 5 years old (this was safe). I also remember pumping gas into my grandfather's truck when I was about 7-8. This was before it was against the law.

JC, you ain't got nuthin on my old pimpin ride, a 1987 Subaru Justy. My first car. And, yes, the hood flipped up on me- while driving- 7 separate times in that thing.
