the image appears soft, and maybe that was intended. the scene is appealing. the sky might benefit with more contrast.

I agree with Tim on the composition and size of your photo. It just seems to have a very fine balance whether its the tones or the composition, all I know is I love it.

Tom, Yes I was going for subtlety in contrast with this one, the more contrast I added, the more it seemed to loose a certain mood or feel the image has. ( To me
anyway). Thanks for the comment, it makes me think about what I am doing.

I dig the pano orientation and the image itself, yet contrast seems a little lacking. I'd bump it up a tad

Nice composition and tone, but with so many clouds in the sky, you lose some contrast and impact in the image. At this size, it is also difficult to judge sharpness. It looks fairly soft, but that could entirely be an image size issue.

I might agree, but I'd rather see a larger version before deciding. The texture in the tree bark might be fine as is.
