I like the lighting in gDans better, but the mist here is nice

The conditions in the first shot - ground fog over the meadow - are among my very favorite in the Valley starting this time of year. Lucky you! I missed this on my last visit. :-)

And, yes, I was there on Saturday and again on Sunday afternoon. My favorite shot was on Sunday IIRC. Those cottonwoods are quite something.

Nice series Dan - I am partial to the first shot with an interesting perspective on the valley floor and the rock walls behind it. I like the way the mist imparts a sense of mystery to the mood of the shot and a nice frosting to the foliage on the valley floor.
