Whats some out there stories that happened to you this season?

I took my assistant/2nd with me to this far from home, over an hour and out in BFE at a farm house.... We walk in, I am greeting everyone and this guy walkes thru the kitchen, turns BEAT RED, and quickly turns the other way... I was like WTF... Then my 2nd say... "oh man we may have a issue..."
why?
"thats the guy who my wife cheated on me with..." (now ex)

FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was an odd day after that. but we both rocked it and put the BS aside.

That easily beats anything I have. Did have a couple that I met after an inquiry...turned out the groom was an old friend of mine I used to work with years ago when I was in television, so that was kind of fun. Also had a bride who knew the brother of one of my best childhood friends...for such a big state, sometimes it seems like a really small world .

i met a couple at their house and the groom to be was nowhere to be found for their eshoot. so i was sitting in their living and room and behold.. what does my ultra mega hyper awesome hearing catch coming from the second floor of their house?

*fart*

lol. i found it to be funny. what was odd was the awkward silence when he came waltzing down the stairs. haha. :P

Wow. Awkward. We've had a lot of strange stuff happen, but nothing like that. And nothing that I can remember right now. Hmm...

That's a riot. Glad it turned out ok even with the added stress. Seems like your second had better reason to be angry. Thankfully he was a good sport about the whole thing.

Too bad you didn't snap a picture of the steam coming from his ears.

That would have been EPIC.

I shouild a 7 year old's tea party style birthday party and at the end, I said "***** take a picture with your dad" when she was actually by her moms new husband. Her real dad was not too far away, and I dont think anyone noticed.

Sitting around between the photo shoot and right before the wedding.
A girl in the wedding party farts...bride says....nice one.....then the bride farts....says "but somebody top that one". I look at my assistant she says "We need to raise our prices!" True Story.

One of the bridesmaids is looking kind of down, I asked her what was up, she said she just found out her husband who she was separated from at the time was cheating on her with someone else. Turns out her husband is also in the wedding party. At the reception one of the other bridesmaids confesses to the first bridesmaid that it was her who was cheating with the first bridesmaids husband.
That cheating bridesmaid and cheating husband were ejected from the reception after a WHOLE lot of alcohol aided drama. Which of course left the bride crying outside.... fun times.

Why on earth do people feel the need to air their dirty laundry on someone's wedding day, especially when they're in the wedding party. FFS.

Oh man! So much time, effort, money & emotions go into that day just to get it ruined by someone else

did a wedding this year and my first was in the wedding party. my wife is my assistant. both myself and my first acted like we never knew each other. its nice when people can be civil and not make a scene and no the girl was not my first wife i was only married once. she was the first girl i was ever with and we were together for 6 years. but I am so glad I am with my wife now after seeing what i could have had. she went down hill. Red Neck wedding two years ago, front lawn of the venue littered 1/2 a foot deep with beer cans... Oh Oh.....Lining up the grooms family for a group shot... about twenty of them... Just as I am saying three....as in one two three.... the grooms two sisters in the front row flash me!!!! Just as the shutter clicks...***ie shots for all.

Three horrendous hours later I am in the parking lot putting gear in the back of my SUV. The truck next to me is bouncing like crazy..... and the noises coming out would make most porn stars blush...... Just closing the tailgate when a shout from the steps of the venue..... "BRENDA.....BRENDA...." Truck Next to me....Hushed voice..."Oh Crap it's my Husband!"

I was so out of there! lol

Wow... the drama.

Mine was more funny ha ha than anything else...

Cleveland's west side has a town called Lakewood. It is supposed to be the 2nd most "Gay" town to San Fransisco.

I had to shoot the grooms side in Lakewood, and made a joke to my friend on the phone that the wedding was "2 dudes"...

When I got there the Mom kept on telling me about her "partner" this and "partner" that... it didn't really click because there were 4 boys and one daughter in the bridal party (all family)... but a little later the moms "partner" arrived at the house.....

The only awkward moment was in the church when the son wanted pictures of Mom, Dad and Partner and Stepmom. Dad refused, but was pretty non-confrontational about the way he pulled it off, earning respect points from everyone... but you could tell that there was a "put aside for the day" tension between him and mom.
