You can look at it in a positive way...someone was so jealous of the fantastic images you post they had to do something. It's a shame they ruin it for everyone else. I wouldn't worry about it..even if this one gets deleted...you got your point across.

I used to moderate an ATV website and they didn't allow advertising either (they used paying advertisers to pay the bills) but when I deleted a topic I sent a PM explaining why it got deleted. I guess FM doesn't do that?

Raymond - have always admire your works and dedications. I have learned more from your NIOM in the past 4 months than the last 2 years here on FM and Dpreview. Keep up the great work man!

FM did send me a pm, but it dosen't make sense.. I got busted for promoting a workshop, and there was no promotion of any kind... i did refer folks to some great articles on NIOM., the same way I refer folks to this great forum.. I also have FM posted on the main page of NIOM, and I tell all my customers about this forum and otheres, as one of the best ways to learn about nature photography...

As I continue to learn in here every day.,

thanks Duane., i do appreciate your comments.

thanks Thang, your support, along with everyone else's in here is what keeps me going... 99% of what goes on in here is nothing short of excellent, so if we have the odd hiccup., it is no big deal.

I can't agree 100% Desert Drake.. this is not wildlife photography... the last 2 shots only, are wild creatures, the rest is captive, but thanks for your kind words anyhow.

I must've missed your last post, Ray, but from what I hear the whole thing seems silly. Sometimes I wonder what goes on people's mind Anyway I hope I will still be able to enjoy your great pics like these for many years to go and I wish you the best luck for your business.

seems to me there is plenty of advertising, marketing and self-promotion in the forums. These are cool pictures. I really like the one of the kitten peering from behind a tree. It's fixated on something with that intense cat stare. Thanks for sharing these. where were you?

Isn't the whole reason for posting to improve and promote ourselves? Isn't putting www address on our profile promoting ones self? why would this be allowed.

Stunning images as usual Ray. I will one day get to a workshop, they look like lots of fun.
