Beautiful set, Ray!! Were you advertising your workshops with a link I've seen that Maxis guy nailed on that.
Regardless, I didn't get to see THAT last one, but thanks for throwing these up this morning.

There is no advertizing of any workshops in the future, just reporting about the programs from last weekend., as I have done here.

I didn't know Maxis had a thread deleted, he is a good guy, and people need to try to understand how difficult it is to make a living in this business., try going 2-3 months without any kind of income... I am not complaining, it's my bed, I will make it., but the fact is, this is a very tough business.

I understand shameless promotion of comercial projects is uncool., but I hope I can at least post images from past workshops., I would also expect a little more respect considering what i have done for the last 3 yrs to help this forum.

having said all that, this thread will likely get deleted.

And if I remember correctly I said ' wow that first guy has some heft to him, huge paws cool looking animal. The last shot has just the right feel and light in it and a big congrats to Maria for spotting it for you I like the peak of #3 and I still want to know what #8 is other than a beautiful tipped something or other

If a post was deleted I would only think that a reason for it was reported to the original OP so that the infraction doesn't happen or offend again I have always enjoyed what you have offered here Ray, I surely hope you continue to share.

Love the shots, and, while it may not have been true while shooting, these animal aren't exactly tame and has that nice danger and wild elements to them.

Thanks for sharing these. There are some interesting shots here. I always love the saw-whets and that young cougar especially.

Just about everyone who posts usually gives at least a few lines putting the photographs into their context. I think that this setting of context is part of what makes viewing photographs on this forum interesting and enjoyable - I wouldn't want to lose that.

It's funny what slides in other forums and what gets called on.
Guess it's up to the mods.

Great shots.

Very nice shots, Ray. I like the owls the best.

It was not me who complained about your post, but FM Forum rules clearly state: No SPAM, advertisements, schemes, or fictitious announcements: Regular members are allowed to advertise their workshops or meetings in the ‘Member meetings and events’ section, but moderators can still edit, close or remove a thread when they think it’s needed.

There are a few members who only post on this forum in order to promote their business interests. As it clearly states above, that is to be done only in the "Member meetings and events" Forum. If you allow some members an inch, they will take a mile. Next thing we would be seeing on this forum would be annoying pop-up ads.

Registration to the FM forums is free and welcome to everyone. However, we reserve the right to enforce the rules and policies. The rules are very clear and simple to follow. If you do not agree or adhere to these rules, then you will not be permitted to post. FM moderators reserve the right to ban, revoke privileges, edit, move, delete or lock any thread that does not comply to the rules below:

I know the photography business is tough, but that does not mean that FM'ers should be subjected to spam when they simply want to share images and comments about Nature & Wildlife.

Like I said before Ray, the owls are stunning! For that matter I don't think there is an image in the bunch that I don't like

Ray, good stuff as usual, especially the Owl. No complaints here, I was glad to have info on the web site and activities. For some reason I have been recieving notification by e-mail for every reply to your post. Perhaps I clicked on something when I commented on your first post that generates this. Bruce

Beautiful set as usual Ray

It's interesting what will remain on here & what will be removed.

It's probably a jealous lurker who complained. From now on I will complain when I feel certain people are out of control on certain issues. I bet they know who they are.

Well done Ray - beautiful set. I do hope we get a chance to put together what we're talking about.
