Anyone have any particular tips for pix of the bride and groom when the groom is way shorter? I have two this weekend with tall brides and I always feel like a deer in the headlights in this situation. |

I will tell you it shouldn't really matter. |

I have more trouble posing them sometimes because certain poses don't work; however, role reversal shots sometimes make things interesting and different. Have to ask them if they find the ideas acceptable beforehand. |

Here's a thread from not too long ago, not sure how helpful it is... |

I have had a few brides who are just tad taller once the heels go on, and that isn't too hard to deal with at all. I did have a very lopsided height difference earlier this year, but it was with a short bride and tall groom. In this case, I embraced it: ![]() Not sure that sediment works the other way around? |

My fiancée will be using a Rubbermaid step stool at our wedding (decorated, of course) and that may be enough. There is a 13 inch difference in our heights. |

I think the most important thing is your attitude going in. Think of it as a challenge and look forward to it! Trust your instincts and allow your experience to come through. One of the hardest things for me to be able to do was go into a session/wedding not knowing exactly what I was going to do and trusting my instincts. |

Tilt a bit to bring the grooms head higher in frame. |
