Hey guys, how is everyone?

Just tipped my toe in the cold waters of couple/wedding photography. My goal is to start next summer and learn as much as I can in the upcoming months. I've been following you guys for longer then you want to know lol.

If anybody is located in the Netherlands please do send me a message, I'd love to 2nd for you guys if you need an assistant photog.

The next set of photos is a couple that came to me and wanted to have me as their wedding photographer next summer. I guess it's because they like my work . I made really really clear that I have no experience in wedding photography as I really am planning to start that part of photography in 8 months ( their wedding is about mid summer ), and I promised them, and of course myself that I would do my very best to get gigs to 2nd shoot for photographers. So I guess I can't be flamed on that part :P

On to the couple;
This couple is just amazing, you can put them in front of any camera and they'll just make that picture look good all by themselves. I don't wanna spoil you guys with a whole piece of text ( as you will see in my history of posts I tend to overtype a bit here and there )

Here are the photos!

Very different. I rather like these. Refreshing to see some studio engagement work. Other then Evan, FM's about bankrupt when it comes to this. 6 is just so good. Perfect light and emotion.

I'm on my phone but suffice to say... Wow. Very nicely done. Takes huevos to do an e session in studio. And an emotive couple. Well done.

Guys, I'm kind of starstruck atm. I've been stalking this forum like a crazyman for the past time and it's really cool to see you take the time to comment on the photos.

Thank you thank you thank you for the comments. This gives me a very positive mental boost to know that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I appreciate the time you guys took to comment on these pics. Like, I mean, like I know half you guys better then any photographer down here, while I've talked to them in person, hung out etc.

I won't go further then that 'cause I'll go all soft on everyone while I don't know any of you personally lol .

Thanks so far guys!

Marc

6 rocks my socks. LOVE.
Would love to see 3 in black and white.
This set was not what I was expecting and that's a good thing. These are fantastic. I want to frame 6 and look at it every day. I can't wait to see what you come up with for their wedding.

The more I see creative studio sessions, the more I love studio work. Kudos - this set is great! I am actually going to get a studio light soon and set up our house to be a studio. I can't wait. Also saved the link for inspiration!

Thanks again guys, I appreciate the comments and time alot.

DB That's great, and thanks for the Kudos!

I took these with a pair of ghetto Falcon Eyes ss110F ( totally cheap ) and the seamless paper with stands etc. Also in the living room as I am just at it for about 10 months ( portraits ) I'm not quite succesful enough (hopefully) yet to get a space to use.

Good luck with the studio lighting, and I'd love to see some pics you'll take.
