I would greatly appreciate your feedback in the pp work of my gps female bald eagle.

Ted, the PP work looks great! I'm not sure about the bg being the right one, though. The original image gives the feel of the Eagle being high in the sky and I'm thinking may be a sky with clouds would work better and would make the shot more "real"

P.S. I would also think to add a moon in the sky, if you can, just to make JB happy

Hmmmm, first I think you have the yellow oversaturated a bit too much and should be isolated to only the beak not the tail. The tail is normally more of a stained pale yellow IMO.
I like this new BG over the original though I agree it may not be the right one for this shot. Maybe just a bit of a softly faded gradient could work for a BG??

I think you did a great job putting the BG in though, congrats on that!

Hi Ted, I would second the tail being a bit too yellow. I'm not sure about the bg either. Oh heck, I just happen to agree with Karl and he says it so much better

Hi Ted,

You might want to try dropping the yellow saturation to get the beak and rear feathers to look more natural. The contrast improvement and sky pick the photo up to a farmable level.

I like these better than the other thread Ted

a lot more pop. Now - regarding the tail....

I've played with one of the shots from the other thread & the tail feathers are were yellow in that shot from the beginning..... I could not correct it with the small file I have available....

But I like the pop a lot better in these.

Ted, If you look carefully at the edges of the eagle you can see the halo that is present in almost the entire edge. Probably too much unsharp masking.

Norm

PS , not fair using a radio-controlled eagle
