Thanks for the link. I have been playing with both the last day or so also (in between working) so have only done a couple of tests. Initial impressions are that the CZ has much nicer colour rendition. Has a nice balance to it whilst the Canon looks a little "brittle" and hard to adjust to be close.

The 24mm probably has the best resolution by a whisker and better corners but the CZ has better DOF even for the focal difference.

Its a hard call to make so far but I will give it a better test over the weekend and do some large prints to evaluate. Its very difficult to get the perspective about the same to judge.

I own the 24mm and am borrowing the 21mm with the view to maybe putting it on the wishlist if I like it enough.

Two amazing lenses with different strengths. I also dig (from what I've seen Online) the ZE 21/2.8's color rendition. I honestly don't know which one I would buy if I had the money, I love the way Zeiss lenses handle color and contrast but Tilting/Shifting can be extremely useful for walking around the city on a slow Sunday..

Which one - the f/1.4 II or the TSE II?

24 f1.4L II, my biggest Canon disappointment unfortunately...
Waited a long time to get one, tried two copies.
Not sure, maybe both were not good... Not good enough for me anyway.

I have heard this from someone else too. The 24mm T/S is very good albeit manual focus.
