Do you keep a lens wish list? If so, what is it?

I'll start. My wish list is:

Volna 9 50/2.8
EF 200/2.0
EF-TS 17/4.0
ZE 21/2.8 (I'm getting this one this weekend)
Coastal Optics 60mm f/4

(current line-up is 35L, 85L II, EF-TS 90/2.8, 135L, Voigtlander 125mm, Sigma 50mm 1.4, ZE 50/1.4, Rokkor 58mm f/1.2)

I do, but I won't buy many things for a while now...

List: (in order of priority)
Canon 35/2 EF (standard & AF for my XSi, to replace my way overlapped 50/1.4)
Canon FD T-S 35/2.8 SSC (already modded if possible)
Tokina 12-24 (only needed in a few years, for my 2nd Eurotrip)
half-dreaming: Zuiko 18/3.5 (after getting a FF DSLR)

1.) CZ ZE 28/2
2.) Canon 135/2
3.) CV 58/1.4 Nokton

That should cover the whole range I need. Also, I read about that Coastal Optics 60/4 on Diglloyd's blog and its a total beast. It looks like an absolutely flawless lens (well, aside from price point )

(Current Lineup: Just a Canon 50/1.4 and Kit Lens )

I actually don't really want anymore lenses since I don't really use anything too long, but if I had to make a wish list, I guess it would look something like:

Contax 85/1.4 or FD 85/1.2 L
FD 135/2

I really want to try other older film cameras and rangefinders (both 35mm and MF), like an FM3a, Bessa R4a, Mamiya 645 or Hasselblad 501cm.

What I really want is a scanner so I can edit my negatives...

I have a ridiculously long six year plan of buying and upgrading lenses. I get three or four lenses a year and the plan includes upgrades. I will give you just my plan for the rest of this year and the next two years. 2009- A fast 35mm--I am still deciding which one and I have a thread on than now. 2010 - Zeiss 35-70 f/3.4, Canon 85mm f/1.8; Leica 60mm f/2.8 macro. 2011 - Early in 2011 I plan to get a 5D Mk II, Canon 70-200 f/4L IS, ZE 21mm f/2.8, upgrade my Leica 90mm f/2 (non-AA) to a Leica 80mm f/1.4, upgrade my CZJ 135mm f/3.5 and sell the Canon 85mm f/1.8 to get a Canon 135mm f/2L.

(current line-up is Olympus OM 24mm f/2.8; Olympus OM 28mm f/3.5; Minolta Rokkor 58mm f/1.2; Leica 90mm f/2 (non - AA); CZJ 135mm f/3.5; Canon 300 f/4L (non-IS), Canon 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 MKII)

Contax 85mm ƒ1.2 as a walk around.
Nikon 300mm ƒ2.0 for the laugh.

I am concentrating more on lens collection contraction than addition. Trying to whittle down the collection to only those lens and cameras that will get regular use in the future. I find I am shooting more Tilt Shifts, APO, and Alts

That said these lens do intrigue me

Hartblei 120 Superrotator (Zeiss optics)
Hartblei 65 Superrotator
Hartblei 35 Superrotator
Mamiya 120/4 APO Macro
Canon FD 200L F1.8
Zeiss 50mm Makro

and if the rumors are true on the Nikon Rumors site
Zeiss 135
Zeiss 180

Considering a 28-300 for a Yellowstone trip this winter.

In order of desire, most-desired first:

1) Leica 50mm f/1 Noctilux-M
2) Leica 21mm f/2.8 ASPH Elmarit-M
3) Hasselblad FE 50mm f/2.8
4) Contax 645 55mm f/3.5
5) Contax 645 210mm f/4
6) Contax 645 350mm f/4

If we are allowed to add another camera system to expand our wish list:

7) Leica 120mm f/2.5 Apo-Macro-Summarit-S
8) Leica 35mm f/2.5 Summarit-S
9) Leica 350mm f/3.5 Apo-Tele-Elmar-S

and so on. I didn't even get into technical cameras and those gorgeous Rodenstock and Schneider lenses, the Hasselblad X-Pan, nor my lust for several R lenses, like the 180/2 and 280/4. It never ends.

You should talk with Daniel. Obviously, he's found something down under to help soothe the itch - or maybe he's just waiting to 'break out', and doesn't know it yet.

Film Gears:
1) Hasselblad FE 300/2.8 TPP
2) Lotus 8*10 large format camera and lenses

Digital:
A digital full frame rangefinder. And I really want to have a digital Zeiss Ikon, full frame.

Lets see... My current wishlist. From most desired to might eventually get it

1.) CZ 50/2.0 Macro ZE (as soon as Zeiss feels like releasing it, I need auto-aperture. My stopgap Sigma 70/2.8 Macro is still a tad longer than I wished for and focus feels ho-hum)
2.) Samyang 35/1.2 (sounds absolutely fantastic)
3.) Canon 24/3.5 TS II
4.) Samyang 85/1.4 (the Canon 85/1.8 is too sterile for my taste, currently trying to figure out if that's the reason it gets so little use)

Plus a really long macro (closeup) lens (>200mm preferably 300mm, would be nice if it could do 1:2 without tubes). The Canon 300/4 IS is pretty lacklusting.

edit: oops, the Zeiss is 50mm
