I was at the falls for six days and along with the bears was dissappointed that the fish did not arrive to jump the falls. The day I left, there were 1,600,000 fish 100 yds down stream from the falls ( this is called pooling). The water was boiling with fish but the bears were patient stakingout their places at the falls and would stand there for as many as six hours barely moving a muscle the whole time waiting for the fish to start their journey upstream. |

great composition on the 1st shot. i think the sparkly white water contrasts well with the bears head to make him pop out of the pic. now you just need a salmon to jump up into the shot. hehe. |

Nice Bruce but could you have taken any of the pooling fish? That would be nice to see. |

Fish or no fish I think it would be a thrill to see these in the wild. Great shots. |
