In addition to learning the intricacies of shooting football this season, I've spent some time shooting the other football team - soccer! Tonight was the first of the playoff games & our team won 5-0.

I've gone back & forth on lighting - no flash, flash to stop the action, flash to fill... It's been a long season. Tonight, I tried the fill flash option. I set the camera on manual - f2.8 & shutter speed at 1/400 or 1/500. ISO was 1600. Flash was ETTL with HSS and I dialed it all the way down & worked it up as I needed it.

Here's what I came up with - please keep in mind that the grass IS brown.
