My friends,

The weather wasn't working for us here. Back-lighting certainly didn't help (did the best we could), and the wind gave us some stray hairs (that, in retrospect, could be fixed). Otherwise, I thought it pretty good.

Feel free for honest C&C. However, I'd ask you to not judge my model too harshly. There's a connection from my heart to hers (and vice versa).

Many thanks,

Tony

Umm someone left a rug on that otherwise nice ledge.

A well-behaved, loving rug who loves her father more than life itself.

I'll take it that you at least enjoyed the remainder of the shot....

Just kidding.

Okay - I have got to tell you this....

My first impression when I saw this was a play of the "wise old sage on the mountain"

Then my thought flipped to Yoda... Who was, i guess a wise old sage in space.

This is cute!

Thanks for the kind comments.

alphakappa - This was taken near Skyline Drive, south of Front Royal, VA (in the Shenandoah National Park).

FSJ - Couldn't help the flyaways... wind conspired against us.

Your model looks slightly grumpy, but I do like your use of the halo lighting effect.

Montelle - My model was upset that other people were near "her" spot. There are a few "happier" pictures, but this one seemed to be one of the best. Backlighting a black dog, it turns out, doesn't work too well (biggest lesson from this shoot). While that seems completely obvious now, at the time, it didn't seem so bad.
