I am using a Dell Inspiron 518 computer. I recently formatted the entire computer. Previously, running Miller's Remote Suite Plus, worked. As that's how I've uploaded my photos for print. However, I've been unable to do so lately.
My computer has only a few things installed on it. Firefox 3.5. (whatever the latest NON beta is). Java (latest). DPP, PS CS2, Microsoft Office 9.0, HP's printer software, and the Spyder Express 2 software.
When I load Miller's Remote Suite, and I enter my account and password, click validate, sometimes it validates...other times the connection says it has timed out. So if I bypass the validate step, and just use the log in information, it says error, contact Miller's personnel. So when I called Miller's, I spent about an hour deleting java, and installing different versions. Clearing cache's, and rebooting. I didn't really get anywhere, as I stillc annot upload photos.
So I checked my device manager, to see if there's any "issues". My network cards needed the proper drivers, so I installed them (I have 2 nic cards. One is wireless, and it gave me trouble from the get-go (when I bought this comp) so I disabled it previously, and forgot to do it this time. I have also disabled it now, and have my connection hard wired).
I also had an issue with the SM bus something. I have corrected that by downloading the Intel driver packet.
So here I am, with a seemingly full functional pc, but something is amiss. Something that changed from before the nukery, to after must be screwing this up.
Does anyone have ANY idea from a similar experience? I'm really stumped and this is my only PC.
The error message I get is exactly this,

Contact Miller's Support Personel
That's verbatim of how it is on the screen. I contacted miller's, and my account is indeed active, and my information is correct. Anyone have any idea what may be causing me this grief?
