Hello,

Last night was really the first time I tried shooting under moonlight and painting techniques. Had alot of fun and wanted to share a couple of images that turned out well (I think). Not up to par with some of the nightscapes I've seen lately, but I was pleased. I will definately try more in the future with a more suitable subject. Any comments or thoughts are appreciated.

Ansley

The second one is interesting because it looks like day, but then you see the stars in the sky. Great shots.

Hello Ansley, I'm with Ray on the compositions. Looking forward to your ongoing experiments. Do they ever irrigate at night

Hey Hugh,

Yes, some farmers irrigate at night depending upon the situation or time of year. Its not uncommon in the summer or during a dry spell for an irrigation system to run 24/7. Mmmm....that gives me an idea....

Wow! Thanks for all the comments and encouragement. I plan on trying some more nightscapes over the weekend and if any turn out well, I'll post them also.
