Anyone ever buy from there...the reviews I found don't look too promising..

It's a very basic, generic looking website, registered at a discount domain registrar, with all whois information blocked, and no address information on their website, poor reviews on other websites, and poor (non-native English sounding) grammar on their about us page. Do you honestly even need to ask if you should shop there?

You need to become friends with resellerratings.com. Based on this rating, only a fool would do buisness with Stop_and_Shop_Digital.

You'd be better using the buy and sell boards here - gear has been well taken care of, people are honest and you end up making friends during your transactions. Instead of a 300S you'd do better buying a used 300 from someone here.

I particularly like that they only have three reviews that were not a "1" rating. All of them were a "5" rating, and all three of the reviewers signed up, and only rated that one store. All of the other reviewers gave them the lowest possible score.

I buy from Stop&Shop every week. The produce is good and they have a nice deli counter. Wouldn't buy a camera from them though......

I'm a manager at a camera store, and I can't even get the D300S for less than $1400. I'd steer clear of them like they've got the plague! It's an $1800 camera, and you can get it for $1600-1700 from reputable places like:

That is a feat! Even while cheating they still have the lowest rating I have ever seen in person.
