Buying a Canon 7D from Best Buy this weekend. I wanted to get a Mack Warranty for it. (My cousin got his shutter replaced from them without problems) So anyways, Which should I get?: |

Can you buy the camera with a credit card which offers a free extension on the factory warranty? Many AMEX and Gold-level or higher VISA cards provide this service. That gives you two years, no added costs, and better service (at least from VISA & AMEX) than Mack could ever provide. |

Don't waste your money. Studies show on average you loose when purchasing an extended warranty. |

One benefit of the mack warranty is that if you sell the camera before the warranty expires, the warranty is transferable (for a $20 fee). This really helps the resale or trade-in value. |
