Another one from my Sunday walk, I hope it isn't too exaggerated in regard of the colors?

Hello Karl, it looks fine to me. An excellent use of the reflections. Perhaps slightly wider to include the reflections of the tops of the trees as well, but that's just a nit.

Looking very nice to me, Karl. Lovely reflection. Really like the nice darkness of the water. Beautiful scene.

Cheers,

Nice job on the shot Karl. I think you have an even stronger comp cropping the top 1/4 of the image.

I'd crop the top quarter, right above the first tree line, just too close-in the image... I like the blackish water. Very strong image Karl!

Great scene Karl - at first I didn't agree with the crop suggestions but after scrolling the image on my screen a few times I think I have to agree. The bottom 3/4 of this image is much stronger without the top.

Nice work.

Pleasing scene, Karl. I think you showed great restraint with your colors.

Fine colours and a shimmering reflection , Karl . The suggested crop is a good option , should you so choose . You might like to clone out that little bit of blue sky (top left in suggested crop), which is a minor distraction to my eyes

Beautiful scene, Karl. I like the crop idea, too, and the color is not remotely overdone, imho. Wonderful reflections.
Love the deep shadows back in the woods....adds a bit of spooky to the scene.

Thank you ALL for your friendly comments and suggestion on the crop. I tried it and it really looks better.
