Nice pair Sergey, cool reflection in the first. The comp and conversion of the second makes that one my fav though. You even caught the light coming around.

Hey I've seen that reflection before
Nice captures in both.
The mood at Portland looks like it was the 1st week in Oct?

Thanks Mike.
It was easy to capture light with exposure of about 30 sec.

Thanks David.
I found one little pool with reflection, it was pretty windy, but patience pays off sometimes.

Two of my favorite lighthouses. Great catch on the pool reflection for Pemaquid. (I am very envious.)The Portland lighthouse is one of the most photogenic on the East Coast but it just doesn't seem as majestic in this photo. The mood is definitely there. I guess it needs a few crashing waves.

Thank you Karl.
For the second shot weather was pretty bad with gray skies, and there where about 20 people around lighthouse, so i did 30 sec. exposure to eliminate people and i think gray skies look better in B&W.

I like the second one a lot, though I would prefer slightly more contrast there, and maybe just a bit more of the rocks at the bottom.

Since most of you like B&W, here is one more version of Pemaquid in B&W.
