Karl, veel geluk gewenst. Je hebt hier de beste fotografen die voor je naar Italië willen reizen! Dat moet een prachtige reportage worden.

I would say that all control was lost.

Good news for you guys: Uncle Bob is not going to make it to the wedding, but it was fun to think about it

Why did this thread turn into a L2Speak italian thread?

I said it before, and I'll say it again. I'd LOVE to 2nd/3rd the prime on this. I'll even fly on my own dime. By then, I'll have more than sufficient gear...and I'll still have my passport.

I've shot a wedding in Italy, Italian bride, Italian Groom, Irish Photog. I dont have a word of Italian. Did'nt like the place. I went into so many restraunts asking for some food, and they would say chow, like as in "do you want some chow" i guess, and I would nod and say chow back, thinking I would get fed. Not a bloody crumb no matter how many times I shouted chow at them. Came home half a stone lighter.

I'd like to apply but I cannot type and wave my arms around at the same time :-(

Whoever goes - make it a few days earlier to be sure and be over the jet lag. Your in for a long long day, and a LOT of food!

Merv.

There will be indeed load of food so whoever it will be, you won't go home hungry :-)
A mix of Italian food and Belgian (chocolates) desserts :-)

Thanks again for all your PM's and replies here. I didn't expect so many reactions but I'm happy of course :-) Now I will spend my evenings (for the coming months) by sending mails and PM's

My wife is 1/4 Italian. I've been to Italy twice. 2 x(1/4)/me= I'm your guy. Can't argue with the math.

I'm sorry, but this is fail. You can't reference Star Wars (may the force be with you) and then show a Vulcan doing "live long and prosper." It should say, "Live Fawkes and prosper" or something ridiculous like that.

Personally i don't mind mixing trek with star wars. Call me a tart but that's just how i am.

Then there is this option.

The names Fawkes... Chris Fawkes

Or the old but faithful "Get in my belly".

That's like showing up at a Star Trek convention dressed as Darth Vader. You just can't do that. That's breaking some intergalactic law or treaty or something.

Hi,
I would love to.
I'm Italian but living in the UK, so will be quite quick to travel there.
