I feel even better about picking up one on Ebay for $266 in what appears to be excellent condition. I haven't gotten the adapter yet so I'm still itching to shoot with it.

that is a good price, no doubt! ($266). I paid more for mine. I may end up letting one of mine go, I just find I have too many lenses these days and not enough time to use them all.

bump, any more opinions on the 28/2

...thinking between the 28/2 or 24/2. 24/2 costs more though, and need to justify the price if worth it.

I tried many copies of the Oly 28/2, and while it is a sharp lens, it just didn't give my pics that extra something that I look for.

I hasten to add that I tested mine against my Contax 28 f2, and then sold the Contax, primarily because the Oly seemed about as good but much smaller.
