It's excellent. The best of the Oly 28s, certainly. Anything under $300 would be a good deal, I'd think. |

The Oly 28 f2 is quite sharp, has some vignetting wide open, and bright ring bokeh. I used mine on Saturday for Hallowe'en: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Here are a couple of older shots that show something about the boke: ![]() ![]() If you need a 28 f2 on a budget it's pretty good, but I'm not sure that I wouldn't rather carry the weight of the Zeiss version. |

Just a question? how would that lens compare with the Vivitar 28 F1.9 lens that i have for sale on B/S ? Vivitar seems more reasonable price-how about quality? Theres a lot of great series 1 lenses out there, not commanding really high prices, so to speak. Just wondering? |
