Hello,
I came across a rare find: I may have an opportunity to buy a OM Zuiko 28mm f/2 lens.

I was already thinking on get the f/2.8 version to use on the E-P1 to complement the Panasonic 20mm when I buy it. I may use too with the 5D MkII, but not much since I already have the OM 24mm f/2.

Is this f/2 version worth it? And since I have to do an offer, how much you think is a fair price?

It's excellent. The best of the Oly 28s, certainly. Anything under $300 would be a good deal, I'd think.

And it's less than half the Distagon 28/2 ZE price? Where can I get one? and how much and how easy is it to convert it to EF mount?

E-bay and the usual suspects. A $20 adapter is all that is needed (as with any OM Zuiko).

That's just hubsand's guess. As you can see at the top of the page, the test has not been done yet, and the lenses have "X" instead of his usual ratings.

There are a bunch of nice lenses missing from that list as well.

The Oly 28 f2 is quite sharp, has some vignetting wide open, and bright ring bokeh. I used mine on Saturday for Hallowe'en:

It seems like a nice lens, I might buy it if the seller don't push the price too much.

My friend actually guessed that she had a tattoo just there, although he failed to guess the type. He called it a 'trampstamp'.

Yes - it was quite a night. I'm sorry I had to remove the lesbian kiss, but I got paranoid that somehow it might end up causing embarrassment, even though you couldn't see the faces. So the Oly 28 f2 works. Unfortunately discretion is the better part of valour, so I will not be posting the best pictures of Saturday night.

The fake(?) lez kiss was not bad. trampstamp is what I have heard it called too.

Nice costume of the Clockwork Orange guy! gotta love that book. ;-)

Just a question? how would that lens compare with the Vivitar 28 F1.9 lens that i have for sale on B/S ? Vivitar seems more reasonable price-how about quality? Theres a lot of great series 1 lenses out there, not commanding really high prices, so to speak. Just wondering?

Cool. I picked up a fairly good condition one for $150 when I got my first micro-4/3 body. Haven't done a whit with it, though. The seller told me it was "rare"; I was skeptical but wanted to buy something even though I didn't have the adapter yet. By the time I got the adapter I was getting distracted by other things
