Great ones Herb, looks like I missed you there. Did you go on Monday? It has been incredible all week so far.

Not bad for crappy light and 1600iso. Love the first one and the fish capture is something I'm hoping to get sometime.

Herb:

Beautiful work. My 7-year old son, Thomas gives you two thumbs up for the fish capture as well...

Really nice agains the rich color in the BG Herb. #5 is a cool shot! And nice job on the 'jumpers' in the macro forum too

Conditions and high ISO aside Herb, these are terrific with exciting action!!
This set represents not only some great images but your skill in getting the best shot regardless of the situation. Hats off to you Sir

These are awesome, I can't believe that you had such good results with the conditions you had. Wonderful job!

Crappy light but fantastic action, and kudos to you Herb for capturing it all so well under difficult conditions.
Well done.

I wouldn't call the last 3 "crappy" or assign that attribute to the lighting, which is quite nice (soft/diffused), and the one before those three is quite a catch -- literally. Sure, you had to push ISO and the bokeh shows quite a bit of noise, but I'd see about masking the eagle and separating the background so you can NR it. I'd be very proud if I had captured these. I'm crappy at BIF.
