Bald Eagle Landing - S.W Florida

This Eagle was photographed last season. Nesting season is upon us here in Florida. Hopefully I will get few images with the 7D.

Hope you like it.

Canon 40D, 500mm L @ f/8, 1/1600 sec, ISO 400, Manual exposure, FEISOL carbon fiber tripod, Almost full frame.

To answer your question, yes it has!! Hue and Saturation with a hair of sharpening did the trick. Of course the exposure and panning was possible thanks to my excellent techniques.

Well---now that we're talking about it:

The press release refers to 'images', not 'an image'.

It also notes that there were assertions that the locations of the images were misrepresented and that you withdrew your entries when asked to substantiate--which the rules call for.

So your Naturescapes posting seems like it's a pretty lame defense, to be honest with you.

I don't think that the issue is a lesson for 'us', Maxis, it's a lesson for you. It looks to me like you screwed up and you're not stepping up to the plate and accepting responsibility.

You really do some nice work Maxis, it's a shame that it appears that you let the pursuit of recognition soil your reputation like this.
