A bride asked me about scheduling - time allows for just the end of getting ready and then into a first-meeting. I sent her this. |

1. There is another meaning - to think anxiously or gloomily about : ponder. I don't really consider myself brooding, but it really kind of goes with auteur. |

The word "auteur" looks a lot like "amateur." I thought "why would someone call themselves an amateur photographer?" |

"Auteur" is definitely a 10 dollar word.....had to look that one up. |

So during this wedding, I heard from a few of the brides friends and family about how funny they thought my email was - it was only after getting some context from the bride, did I understand why it had garnered so many laughs. Seems the bride is somewhat hyper-organized and timetable driven. So when she asked me what we were going to do in that half-hour during the day and I came back with that down-to-the-minute missive, I was giving her a good elbow to the ribs. |
