What a day! I saw more action today then I did all last winter combined. Unfortunately either me/the camera/birds did not entirely cooperate. Lots of fishing but at least half of it was down stream from me (bad light and butt shots) but I did manage a few.

1. Within 30 minutes of the fog lifting this guy was hungry! The following shot of him layed out with his wings above his head has the eye blocked by his wing

2. Most of these shots are either not cropped at all or a small one for composition.

4. The juveniles were doing some damage!

7. This is the one that really got me. First the camera decides it doesn't want me to have this shot, but gave me perfect focus for the following one where only his tail was in frame (couldn't pan any further).

8. Then camera man fails to follow the bird after he makes a sharp dive and only catches this, nicking the top of the wings in the process.

Oh well, I got a few good ones, and this is shaping up to be a fantastic winter eagle season!

Thanks for looking!

Some nice caps Sean. Some seem a bit soft.

Thanks! They do appear soft on here for some reason, but I promise they are all pretty darn sharp. Not pro-body sharp, but the best I've gotten out of my 30D.

Hey Sean, love the look of the adult shots #2, and 3. Some of these do appear soft, but heck, I'd take em' as I've never gotten a shot with an Eagle and sushi, good for you. Verno

Thanks Vern. I don't know but they seem pretty sharp to me, at least as sharp as I've ever gotten from my 30D in servo. Here's a couple 100% crops
