By 3pm, it had probably dropped below 50 degrees, and we were still getting occasional drizzle. Angela was superwoman and went through the shoot in unfair temperatures. When we weren't throwing coats on her or jumping in the car to warm up, we managed a few nice shots of Angela. We called it early, will do more in the future with more clothes.

And we didn't take nearly enough shots in the plaid shoes

Good work as usual.

The portrait (#2) seems to be the best one for me.

The shoulder position in #3, together with some background issues (where a tree behind her helps her blend into the background) take that one down a notch for me.

#1. That's a wide stance! Not a bad shot at all but if you cover up some of the sky, it keeps more attention on the model.
Another nit - clone out the reflection of something red in the water, viewer's middle right.
Nice work!

I think they're all very nice. I like 3 as is, I think it could also be a nice image with more contrast and saturation, really separating her from the background.

#1 is good, but I just wished more light in her face, therefore my fav is #3!

Number 2 gets my vote and it's nice to see a portrait that doesn't have a super amount of PP on the face! She's a very attractive model and looks like a real person, by that I mean not having that porcelain look from excessive PP. I also like number 3.

Regards

Dale

2 is the best. I like the pose in 1 but her face looks weird. I don't like the last one either.

Nice sharp images. What lens were you using?

Thanks.

I like #3 the most, because I like Full body shots.

Though, I didn't like the wide stance in #1. It makes it look as though she's about to sit on the toilet...

good job, i agree with cre55107 that i like the pose on #1 but the expression on her face and the harsh light takes away from the photo being really nice, with that being said #3 is fav

Thanks to all the commenters above! Angela is very new, this was only her 4th shoot. It was cold and drizzly, so that didn't help her get comfortable, and I think it hindered our shoot a little. Maybe we'll do another with better weather!

cre55107: Yeah, we should have angled her face upwards more to get more light on it.

jforkner: First three are with the Olympus 50/f2, last one with Sigma 24/1.8.

Love the face shot (#2). Beautiful eyes. All are nice. Considering she was probably freezing her @ss off, she looks quite relaxed.

Really nice job. Lighting is nice. Love #3, but I love the pose in #1. That would have been the winner for me had that shot been taken in the woods like #3. Pretty girl. Very natural in fron of the camera (most likely because you made her feel that way so cudos to you)
