Shot some hockey for the first time this weekend as Minnesota hosted Alaska Anchorage on Halloween eve. Some shots from the game

Looks good, though a few suggestions. I'd crop tighter (except on #1) also the white balance is off on the first three, most noticably in the 2nd and 3rd shots. I think the third shot could also use up to maybe +2/3 exposure compensation. Let me know if you shoot when DU comes to town...I plan to shoot when Minesota comes here to Denver.

Wow, I just now noticed that you got the puck in the air in #1 before the goalie blocked it, sweet shot.

I dig the first two shots... great job...

... any player shots to share?

Rebound off the goalie more likely. Unless the puck was flicked and barely moving, stopping any puck with that much clarity and without strobes is next to physically impossible.

The goalies body language tells me the puck hit him first, and what you're seeing is the rebound.

sutegrat is correct. That was a shot rebound.

Dunzie: I'll see what I can post from home.

was at the game, did you get a picture of the three guys sitting together dressed up as the "Hanson" trips from the movie slap shot. I see the one on the zamboni. did you get all three together, they were incredible costumes

Gary

I like 1.
But like others said, I'd like to see some player shots/action. Those, in my opinion, would trump a cheerleader shot every time.
