Posted this in People and Sports but I figure this forum should get a chance to hack my photography to bits

Walking out of the tunnel at the Petersen Event Center in Pittsburgh.

I went into the game wanting one "iconic" image, as everyone gets the shots of him dominating on the floor so when I saw this I was pleased. C&C welcome.

Nothing to be displeased with; I think this shot says exactly what you wanted it to say. Great capture. I'm jealous.

I hope you don't mind, but I kind of like it w/o all the clutter from the people around him, only showing the out reached hands. Regardless of crop, this is an awesome picture.

Not a problem at all, I like it, I'd probably prefer it in color though, I love the scarlet of the jacket. Probably play with it a bit before I settle.

I think it's excellent. Maybe increase the center luminosity to create a little more contrast between the dark and the light?

Agreed. I think this is a compelling image. I do prefer the Zach's rendition though.

I like the shot. I also read through the comments in the sports section. I don't really follow bball too much, but it's pretty obvious who this is without you having to tell me.

I do like Zach's rendition better (the B+W makes it more "iconic" to me) simply because that annoying fellow in the UNC sweater isn't looking at us

Anyway, great shot, great concept. Thanks for sharing. And don't let those sports guys cramp your style

I like B&W, but I'm with the OP - I like the color version better, love the interplay between the colors and the light / shadows.

That's a wonderful photo, except I read LBJ as Linden B. Johnson
