Walking out of the tunnel at the Petersen Event Center in Pittsburgh.

I went into the game wanting one "iconic" image, as everyone gets the shots of him dominating on the floor so when I saw this I was pleased. C&C welcome.

epic!

kind of reminds me of this pic I took when Paul Coffey was inducted to the hall of fame. Mine is no where as good as yours though.

Great shot, I felt the image a little tilted.

Super shot, good for you in seeking out the iconic shot instead of the lazy typical one.

I can understand why your pleased, this is a superb shot. It reminds me of when a boxer steps in, dunno why.

Great shot. My only nit, is the dude in the UNC shirt. I really wish his back was turned to you. Still a great shot none the less.

like yukselserdar, I get that same feeling of a boxer walking out to the ring. it would probably have even more of that feel if the two people on his left had their backs to you like the two on his right (they'd look like a boxer's entourage).

great shot regardless, very moody. I love how he appears to be looking down in concentration while the crowd reaches out for him.

I'm guessing by the crowd that he was walking out for the pre-game shootaround: where were the other Cav's? do they not walk out together, or was there just a gap between them?

best,
k

This was actually after half-time, they came out as a group when introduced before tip off, but at the half they went solo and came out whenever they had finished with their trainers/coaches/warm-up bikes/etc.

I really wish the extraneous people weren't there either, but this was PJ work not a portrait shoot(what I'd do for a 1 on 1 shoot with LBJ haha) so I couldn't really ask them to move. I'm not well versed in PP to possible black out the guys on the sides so I'll live with them until I can do something about them. A vertical crop kills the photo.

Again thanks guys.

To those whom it appears tilted, which way? I can't make it out, the edge of the wall on the left looks straight, minus a little pincushion distortion.

BOTH are very nice images of the athletes.

I like both. Different, but similar in seeing the fans recognition of them.

Very good.

Chris, the best part of this is that you can tell exactly who it is without the title. A very iconic shot. Nice!
