Another stormy day on the Isle of Skye , but there's nothing quite so changeable as the weather in those parts . I was more or less in the right place when the sun burst through , ( half way down a cliffside staircase ) , and blocked the path to take this shot ! Only a few people there at the time ! I don't do much B&W , but this treatment seemed best suited to convey the mood of the moment .

View of part of the Outer Hebrides island group from Neist Point , the most westerly point of the Isle of Skye .

Very strong and dramatic image, Adrian. Love it! The light hitting the sea and in the rays are wonderful.

Beautiful dramatic capture Adrian. The rays across the mountains, and the bit of light at the surfline make this one a winner.

I like the dramitic contrast and graininess here. It really adds to the atmosphere.

A very powerful image Adrian - well captured. So it wasn't all sweetness and blue skies up here?

Wow, very moving, Adrian. Has a tremendously foreboding look to it. Excellent use of b&w.

Adrian

a very moody and dramatic capture here, real like the high tonal contrast ( structure) you applied in the conversion, very cool Adrian

Glad you made a few folks wait to create this! It is impressive! And if they could see it, I'm sure they would instantly forgive you for making them pause for a bit

No idea what the color version looked like, but hard to feature it could top this in B&W - very nicely done indeed.
