I figured someone had to enter a Halloween themed shot

This is me playing with a prop hand in a candy dish filled with dirt. An off-shoe flash filled in as moonlight. The moon was shot last night and composited in.

Very creative thinking. Rather than just point the camera upwards like most of us did you took a picture of something emerging from below. I take my hat off before your creativeness.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Excellent! I only wish the thumb was discernable as such.

Ha, love it. Creative, and I like the color tone!

Yakim, Andy, Namlak, Jouko, Roy, and Bev thanks for the comments.

Tried different color tones--both in PP and using flash gels. Settled on a bluish moonlight tone, seemed creepier. And I also noticed the hard to discern thumb issue--but if you've ever seen an actual skeletal hand it pretty much looks like this prop hand.

See ya,
Chad

Well executed, good idea. The thumb might appear as such if positioned differently and I would have liked the hand facing the moon as in reaching for it?
Nicely lit and composited too. got my vote.
